The short version

Who we are

Simply Made Studio is run by Samiur Rahman, an individual based in New South Wales, Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Simply Made Studio. You can reach us at samiurrahman1@proton.me.

What this covers

This policy covers this website (simplymadestudio.net) and our apps:

Islam Everyday also has its own Privacy Policy inside the app, which says the same things in more detail and in English and Bangla.

Information kept on your device

Our apps save what you enter, such as settings, records and history, in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. This information stays on that device. We cannot see it, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else.

Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling an Android app, deletes it. Some apps let you export a backup file; that file goes wherever you choose to save it, and we never receive it.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies' servers. It remembers one thing, in your browser's session storage: that you have already seen the loading screen in this visit, so it can show it faster. That is cleared when you close the tab.

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn and our apps take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Hosting

This website and the web versions of our apps are hosted by Vercel Inc. When your browser downloads a page, Vercel's servers receive the technical information any website host receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Vercel may keep this in its logs for security and to run its service. We don't use these logs to identify anyone. Vercel's handling of this information is described in the Vercel Privacy Policy.

Android apps

When the Android versions are published, they will follow this policy: no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and your information stays on your phone. Google Play handles downloads and updates under Google's own privacy policy. If an Android app ever needs a permission, such as location for Islam Everyday, it will ask you first and use it only on your phone.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, don't add you to any list, and delete it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal information through our apps or this website, we have nothing about you to show, correct or delete, except emails you send us. You can ask about those, or about anything in this policy, at samiurrahman1@proton.me.

We aim to handle information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're unhappy with our response to a privacy question, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Our apps are suitable for general audiences, including children, because they collect nothing from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If the way our website or apps handle information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. A change that would involve collecting personal information would be shown clearly in the app first.
